Alright so I'm planning for the future here, but I was just having a really tough decision about which fish should round out my tank. It's 33 gallons, SPS dominant, with an over sized skimmer (carbon dosing) and lots of flow. I'm not worried about angelfish and picking because if I can't have a tang (and I wouldn't in this size), they're my next favorite fish. Currently I have two ocellaris clowfish and a melanarus wrasse. I'm hardly producing any skimmate and my NO3/PO4 have remained undetectable so I'm not at all worried about them polluting the tank; on the contrary, they aren't producing enough waste for my likes. Okay so I was thinking: midas blenny, chromis trio, flameback angel, lemonpeel angel, or a mccoskers flasher wrasse pair. Let me know what you all think!

I think the Lemon Peel is a sps eater but you said you don't care. Though if it does pick at the sps it will stress the sps out to the point where it can brown out, or die. I would recommend the goldflake angel instead! The Juv. will be a good start. Also maybe instead of the flameback look into a golden angel. Just my opinion (AKA: My taste in fish)

I know both of those fish are at risk of eating corals but I have 2 goldflakes in full reef tanks that leave the coral alone. The Golden angels i have had luck with too. Just feed them good!

Mhhhh, yeah I'd freaking LOVE a Goldflake lol. I forgot to mention price is a factor . Golden angels are much less expensive, but in the end I could get two flamebacks for the price of one golden. I've heard most dwarf angels will leave SPS alone, you don't think it was just an individual on the lemonpeel experience? I meant that I don't mind if they'll nip at LPS/Polyps. I had a flameback and he was my favorite by far but he jumped... now I have a screen.

Save up for it! ha It's a super nice fish and when you are limited to the amount of fish you want them all to be nice! I haven't seen any of the Goldflakes or the Goldens nip at either sps or lps or polyps but that's my experience. I have read that they can nip at sps but every place says something different. The flamebacks and lemons just dont do it for me ha I guess i've acquired a expensive taste in fish lol, but hey, if you like them it's your tank! And for the wrasse I love the five bar mystery wrasses!
