Never had a Peninsula tank so far and not so sure what length of fixture I should get.
Tank is 72 x 24 x 25. Overflow sits on the left side
Looking into a T5/LED hybrid fixture hanging over the tank.

60" or 72" ?

Thanks

I think it's personal preference. In larger tanks, I have plenty of negative space around the edges of the tank and even then I put lower light corals on the periphery. In that case, a 60" light would work. However, if you're going to have lots of corals in the last 10" of the tank or want to put nicer corals near the end of the peninsula (such as nice LPS in the sandbed), I'd suggest going with the 72" fixture for flexibility.

Choices will be limited if one fixture for the full 72” is a must. T5 bulbs don’t even come in that length. A pair of 36” fixtures may work though
