I’m just gonna release the eel and tang. The ich will starve and this tank will act as a QT

Can it be soaked in food? That would be preferable over dosing the whole tank
I’m being told it’s most likely ich my a Hawaiian fish guy, and I caught this tang from Hawaii tide pool… I will prob dose coppersafe and remove all inverts

It’s ich Jay. Not flukesI don't think this is ich - I can't see any white spots. You can dose for flukes with praziquantel, and that is reef safe (General Cure has metronidazole in it and may harm some invertebrates).

You don’t need to see trophonts. It’s expected in our line of work. The chances of a surgeon out of Hawaiian waters having flukes is next to nothing. The chances of them carrying ick is guaranteed. Commercial dealers and divers in Hawaii don’t run prazi in our fish systems, we run copper as our systems are predominantly tangs. Flukes typically are on things like our dwarf angelfish(potters/flames/fishers)I can't see any trophonts in the video. If you can see them in person, then, that's different.
Ich doesn't cause flashing/scratching like that. so if you can see distinct white spots (the trophonts) then the fish may well have both issues.
