Fluval aquasky 2.0 lights

A friend was told fluval aquaksy 2.0 light are adequate for growing corals

everything i can find seems like these are more plant lights than coral and am unfamiliar with…hate to see him make a bad decision

I wouldn't buy that light for growing corals. It's more about power than spectrum. The 4 foot light is only 35 watts, for example. That's really underpowered for our purposes.

Lots of other LED choices, however. It depends on what features he wants, tank size, and budget.
