I am working on setting up a new tank, a Fluval 13.5, and I am having some trouble finding the right return pump. I have seen a lot of people opt for the Eheim COMPACTON 1000 but I would prefer to have a pump that has a controller for the flow rate so I do not have to keep pulling it out to make adjustments. I have used Jebao pumps in the past and it looks like the DCS-1200 may fit in that chamber but I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts or experience in upgrading this return pump.

Return chamber is: 3-5/8 L x 2-9/16 W

I have an Eheim compacton1000 in my group of powerheads, it is manually adjustable by twisting the dial where the water intake is but the change in flow was minimal from what I could tell. I ended up putting it at 100% regardless though.
