TGC Disturbia

I gave this coral some room and moved it direct under the halides at 275 par. It's really lit up nice. I've cut it a few times too.

What exactly is this crazy hands tenuis?

I pulled this strain from another member of the forum, not sure lineage before that. When he sold to me, he told me it was moody also. Since that time he's inquired about a piece, apparently he lost his colony and everybody he sold frags lost their pieces also. As i said, its got an attitude, but its one of the best ive seen...

Here is one of his shots.

Nice collection! I have one that looks identical to this strain. It is quite moody also. I lost the first 2 frags of trying and this is my 3rd attempt and so far it is doing quite well. what do you think? Sorry for the extra blue pic. I'll try to get better pictures with the dslr this week.

That looks like a very healthy nice piece, with good growth formation... I cant tell with pics. What does it look under daylight? Does it have an aqua base(super bright), moving towards blue/purp tips? Polyps should be greenish with more mature branches showing red/orange inside the polyp.

ah nvm. Just double checked and the polyps aren't as you describe it. I'll love to have a piece of that someday. :) Happy Reefing!
