Also while we’re all here I ran out of my soul that I normally use and was wondering what salt you all use

A lot of people say they're useful, but it can procreate to populate your tank if not they're not controlled, and some can grow to a big size where it can do some harm.
How could I “control” the population? Now I’m getting worried

Oy ..... bristle worms are a beneficial part of the tank clean up crew. They do not magically proliferate, rather populations wax and wane based on available food. If you have large populations, you have too much uneaten foods. Certainly they can get large, but it’s very rare for them to cause any problems. Just leave them alone to do their job.

LOL, +1 for the Crocodile Dundee reference.

Completely agree with @ca1ore. Would add that if they are getting remarkably abundant you probably are over feeding or have some other reason for a detritus problem.

Im not fond of the things. They always seem to hang out near some of my corals and come out and steal the food. I suck them out when i can with a turkey baster as im feeding. These 2 critters will eat them; Coral Banded Shrimp, or Arrow Crab. However read before you buy them.

Glad someone got it :D

If you look close you can see the worm coming out of the hole in the middle of the rock and weaving down and around, in and out, all the way to the bottom right salt dripping. It was at least six inches long. Once it was out of the rock it shrunk pretty quick.

A six line wrasse is also a hunter of these little guys. But I also agree even tho they are ugly I always keep some in my fuge. If I do happen to see a larger one I just take it out. But usually my coral banded shrimp and six line keep it all in check.
