Please send advice or prayers! Our beloved Manny (foxface) got stuck in the wavemaker, we think maybe it was an hour because he was fine around 5:40pm but then coming downstairs we saw him around 6:30 and he was stuck. He is swimming around but very tenderly. He did eat a little...

What can we do for the wavemakers so this does not happen again? We need them for our corals...

Healthy fish don't get stuck in powerheads so he is probably not healthy for some reason. They make nem guards for various types of powerheads. At least he is swimming reasonably normal and eating.

Video has sound but np picture. If it was fine an hour previously, it had some type of trauma weakening it to the point it could not resist being pulled in.
Is fish breathing normal or labored?

Hi, Manny is VERY thin. This has allowed it to become weak, as the others said, healthy fish do not become stuck on powerheads. I can't tell you how the fish got so thin, but it is too the point where it has begun to use its liver as a food source. Once that happens, you cannot reverse the liver damage, sorry.
