Hi everyone, so I've found myself kinda in a conundrum and trying to think possible solutions.

So I have a frag rack that I've been using to put corals on while acclimating, but a problem I've found is controlling algae growth on the rack itself. Obviously it's too high for crabs, I stick a snail on there and it may stay for half the day and wonder off later.
Is there really an affective way at keeping these algae free?
I lost a white walker zoa within a couple days due to GHA that grew on it and I didn't even realize how bad it was before it was too late, seemed very quick.

My other thing is I stick them in the sandbed and they stay for like maybe a day then get toppled over by usually my conch. Lol

So any tips or insight would be great!

Why do you think there is such a problem with your frag rack? It's not something we hear about very often. Is it a DIY rack or a store bought unit? What is it made with?

I don't think there's necessarily a problem with the rack itself. I guess my question on tips on keeping them clean since I can't get crabs on there and snails always seem to moved around. Or other suggestions on where to put new corals other than frag rack or sandbed.
