Fragging a Warpaint Scoly (Progress pics)

It actually cut a lot cleaner than I thought it would, there is a lot more tissue than skeleton.

I would definately recommend dipping after cutting, I used CIES for this, but you could probably just dip in an iodine based one to help steralize the cut.
Never really considered using some sort of suture, what would you use for this?
so it looks like that guy from earlier in the thread was wrong about them returning to a circle ? They look round to me. Reason I bring this up is I have an oval. Has some weird tiny white dots I’m not sure about though.

Yeah, I think it just takes time for the Skeleton to fully re-grow.

Your's does look like a Scoly Frag, and it will probably grow more round as it gets bigger. You can normally tell the frags by the mouth being off centre. (In Aus, Monsoon sells them as 'Scoly Frags').
