Is this aiptasia?
I've never fragged a coral before. Am I right in thinking I can cut the base of this leather toadstool to remove the plug area where the aiptasia is n discard. And then super glue the toadstool to a rock fragment.
I want to check before I accidentally kill the toadstool.
Thanks in advance

You can just kill the aiptasia. There are commercial products or you can just use a strong RO/DO kalkwasser paste.

Leathers don’t glue on IME.
Will have to use a rubber band I think.
I would have just hit the Aptasia.

Well done. You have removed the threat. Better look around to see if there are others hiding in the tank.

Do you have an aiptasia fish predator that couldn't hunt in this area?
