Is it just me or do your corals seem to grow faster when they are regularly fragged? I've always assumed it's just a survival response.

I was just thinking this last night. I had some zoas that we're not growing too much so I frag the colony that I had him since then I've had more growth from them in one week and I didn't couple of months.

Same with all my sps! I fragged my green planet the other day and in 2 weeks it's formed probably 6-8 new growth nubs

Just my opinion but it's like cutting your lawn. The more you cut it the more and faster it will grown due to a innate survival instinct.
