I have had fun with aquascaping on the freshwater side, but have always wanted a reef setup. I thought it was out of reach, too hard, too expensive, etc. But after having to tear down my freshwater aquascape to make way for a home renovation, I have decided to setup a reef. I have lots of learning to do despite the years of freshwater keeping and hours and hours of research and YouTube I have already done.

My biggest unanswered question so far... What is the one thing that I should NEVER do as a beginner to reefing?

Here is the freshwater scape that had to come down... I'm still sad.
