shipment was delayed and opened up the package to see the frogspawn stressed out the bottom of the bag looks like flesh that have fell off during shipment. Any chance that it will make it? I dipped it before I put it in the DP

I'm hoping for it. I had a Hammer get eaten by Peppermint and I was told it was possible to recover.

Peppermint I heard are notorious for stressing out corals I’ve heard a lot of people removing them due to the coral flesh being ripped out. Hope yours makes it.

I highly doubt it. There aren't any hammers left just a stalk.

There is always a chance. I had a frogspawn get stressed from a bad salinity swing when I went on vacation and my ATO pump decided to seize. Found my frogspawn polyp bailed out. got the tank stable again and a few months later I noticed a small polyp growing in the center of the skeleton. Fast forward nearly a year later and the head was almost completely grown back.

I had a heater go once. Tank got over heated and killed all my tourches, my hammer die all except one tiny tenticale. I decided to remove all the dead heads but leave the one head with the one tenticale. It survived and is now a beautiful coral again.

Update on the frogspawn. It looks like it’s not going to make it. I did another dip using mecoral dip x and a lot of flesh particles just fell off.
