Can anyone tell me what’s up with my frogspawn it recently started doing this after a week of high salinity of 36ppm I was out of town for work and couldn’t change the water until last Wednesday to start bringing the salinity down. Any idea what the bulge is all other corals seem fine. Could it be my lighting attached is pics of the coral my basic parameters and lighting schedule 24 gallon aio cube. Thanks for the help all you pros out there. Ammonia=0 phosphate=0.04 calcium=450ppm mag is 1350

35ppt is the usual recommended range so 36ppt is only a tad high but not likely to cause any issues unless it was a sudden rise from lower levels. Even then most corals are pretty adaptable. What was it prior to 36 ppt (not ppm)?
Do you have an ATO to top up water and keep the salinity stable?

It hasn’t happened to me yet, but from what I understand from other threads, that bubble means it’s splitting. Someone should confirm soon, but this looks like a good thing.

when mine split they never look like that, not saying it couldn’t be that though.
