Gen4 Xr30 Pro Optic Lens melted

Anyone else have this happen? I just got the new Radions in and was programming them on ecosmart live, had the light resting on my light rail, when I picked up the light to move it I noticed a burning smell and saw this on the optic - melted where it was touching the rail. Are they supposed to get hot enough to melt the lenses?

I never saw this issue on the Gen 3 fixtures :(

Wow... have you contacted Ecotech directly?? If so what was the result??

You set it on something while running??? You might of been lucky and can get away with just replacing lens if an led didn't melt

I sent Ecotech photos and they promptly sent out a replacement lens. I swapped it out and the fixture is back to normal

Yes, the fixture shifted a few inches while I was tinkering with the initial programming, (which defaulted the fixture to 100% all channels while I adjusted the program) It was just the lens that melted, luckily it was not on anything flammable

found this old thread in a panic...yes i did the same thing

burnt up 2 lenses

contacted and they are sending them out for shipping cost!!
