So I just order some new Atlantik V4s 2 full size per their recommendation for my 6' 220. So I am wondering what will be the best way to acclimate the tank to the new lights. I currently have a mix combo of lighting with a 250w mh with a radion bulb that comes on at 930 and off at 130. A pair of 6' vho actinic blue that run from 7 am to 7 PM also another pair of vho that run from 8 to 4. When all lights are on I'm getting about 250 par at the top of my rock work and sand bed is around 80. My plan was to match intensity and slowly ramp up the intensity. Just looking for some insight on how to proceed with the change over. How long should the lightin run? What programs do you suggest for the Atlantik? Also thinking about add 2 sets of 5' T5 retrofit fixtures with ati blue plus and coral plus bulbs. Overkill or good idea? Thanks for any help.

They have several predefined programs. I think the lights look best with all channels driven at 100% so to acclimate my system I started all channels at 50%. I then bumped up 10% a week. My light is mounted 13" off the water and the tank itself is 24" tall. I had nothing bleach and have spent growing on some lower rocks.

Curious about this myself as I plan to purchase these for my 6' tank as well - would love to hear how this turns out for you.
