I need a timer to run for a few seconds. The only option I can see is for minutes. Is there a work around?

Thanks

David

Is there a limit to how many timer events are allowed? It seems to only allow me 8 events (every 3 hours. Ideally, I would like to advance every 2 hours (12 events)

I think that is correct but you could combine two timers with the logic controls.
If you want to have something cyclical i am sure there is a way to do that but I have not used anything like that. Have you looked at the knowledge base?

There is several options here

We start with the cyclic option

The sum should aleways be 7200 s = 2H. If you want 2 sec in - it will be 7198 and 2. When you enter your figures - always begin with the max value otherwise the web interface will reset the min when you add the max. Be aware of this. You can´t set start time but if you change the figures and save it - it starts with the on function.

2 You make 2 timers that together give max 16 on events - the first for AM and the other for PM - timer 1 AM and timer 2 PM and do a PL function like this

You knit this PL 1 to the outlet you want to run

If you want 8 more events - just make a new timer and make PL2 as PL1 OR timer 3 and knit this PL2 to the outlet
You can stack up to 8 different commands

However my most beautiful solution that also give you a possibility to record your activities is to create a virtual dose program. I use dos 32 in this example. I use rhe client-server program because you have a better view in this program. But you can do ut in the web interface too. Set calibration to 60 ml/min -> 1ml/min Record dosing - v. Set 12 times a day - 1 ml (read 1 sec . 2 ml is 2 sec and so on) Set a fix start time every day

You knit this "virtual" doser 32 to your outlet

The problem with GHL os not that you can´t do it - the problem is that there is several ways to do it. If you want to do it at special times - you can use 24 individual events with a dose pump. If you need more - just combine 2 or more "virtual pumps" the same way as above

Thanks for taking the time to put together such a detailed explanation. Will this repeat every 2 hours?

It will run for 1 sec - stop and wait for 7199 sec. 7199 +1
= 7200 sec = 120 min = 2 h. Yes it will run 1 sec every second hour.
