In glass? Nope. Some companies claim they can and I used one back in the day. Left my tank looking 100x worse and they were zero help after

Cerium oxide is what professional glaziers use to repair scratches!

It’s typically found either as raw cerium oxide powder, a cerium oxide polishing slurry/paste (various grits available), or in specifically labeled cerium oxide embedded rubber buffing wheels! (These are often referred to as “BD wheels”, or “mud wheels”; some require specialized equipment vs. a drill, so do your research if you go this route!)

Also, work with this stuff wet, in a well ventilated space; It’s a respiratory irritant!

I bought a scratch removal kit with different grades of abrasive powders and pads and spent hours and hours and only removed a couple light small scratches. It did seem to distort the glass a little. Wouldn't touch anything you could feel with your fingernail.

Polishing Scratches out of Glass is difficult and time consuming. I did it on a small scratch on my DT when I got it and it turned out well but that was only one 2" scratch. Also, if your tank has Tempered glass forget it as it will shatter.

Best reply....anything that will fix scratches will distort glass. The more you take out the worse the distortion.
