So bought some super glue to see if it would re stick some corals. Well it was kinda runny and didn’t work but as I attempted so of the glue washed into a film on top of the water. My yellow tang must of came up and took a bite. Now I’m watching him try to peck at sea weed and pellets and he can’t open. Idk what to do or how to fix this??

I'm not sure how to help, but do a search online -- I've heard of this happening before. I recall them catching the fish and fixing its mouth outside of the water.

I think your best course of action is to do nothing for a few days and see if it sloughs off. If it doesn't then I suppose manual intervention may be required ….. hard to see how that would end well though. I was about to note how stupid fish are, but then remembered the last time I used superglue I ended up with my index finger welded to my thumb …...

My clownfish does this every time I add a frag to my tank. He immediately goes and bites the glue as I'm lowering it down. The first time I freaked out, as I'm sure you have. It falls off and he's fine every time though.

Excellent! Bet that scared the life out of you.
I was very worried when you state can’t open mouth, that would have been a problem.
My Yellow did the same, but, could open his mouth. The glue fell off in about 10 days.
Now I put on the glue, hold in a cup of DT water for 20 seconds, then put in place.
Glad for your happy ending. It’s amazing to see how many people have had a similar experience.
