Going to the beach tomorrow

I went to Galveston island beach in Texas and was going to bring home some water or sand and I remembered a few years ago I dug in the sand and had black cuticles for 2 weeks I couldn’t scrub off.

Whoa!!! That’s scary stuff! I used to work at Waikiki Beach and a tourist cut himself and he had something green in the cut. No idea what it was or what happened after that. The ocean is full of creepy.

Ours unfortunately is crude oil from oil spills. We also have a nasty beach because we get all the silt run off from the Mississippi.

Oh that’s right about oil spills. I used to live close to the Mississippi River. We had flooding every couple of years. Lots of farms in that area. I imagine all the fertilizer, pesticides and other junk makes its way to the gulf. I’d hate to know.
