Yes, these put out good PAR if you run 2 over your tank. I had them sitting on top of the tank running below 50% for LPS. You can probably raise them a bit and run them higher % and get enough PAR for SPS. At I think 80% blue and 50% white/UV/Violet, I was easily clearing 300 PAR on top of rocks about 6-8 inches below. The blending leaves a bit to be desired. Can these grow sps?
How big is your tank?I have two of the Full Spectrum ReefBar Pros. So far they’ve been great. But I do supplement with T5’s. Considering the SPS corals you mentioned you should be good with two..
Would i also need two for my 55 gallon or would one be okay?Fluval marine led are under $200 I ran 2 on my 75 gallon and they did well nice app to control as well
just two or two with other lighting? Current usa lights kind of suck for tanks deeper than 12"Would i also need two for my 55 gallon or would one be okay?
I ran 2 of the 48” on my 75 gallonWould i also need two for my 55 gallon or would one be okay?
Remove the lenses of what?Just remove lenses and get better spread. You could grow almost anything in the top half
Do you have good coral growth with the nicrews?I have a 55 gallon. You will not be able to buy LED that is both programmable AND has the par needed for SPS, for less than $200. Your budget is too low.
I went with 2x Nicrew 100W and the Nicrew controller. Total price about $350.
Remove the lenses of what?
The leds have optic lenses to focus the light. It penetrates better but reduces spread
