I’m looking for a led bar that is under 200 bucks for my 55 gallon that can grow basic sps like montipora and birds nest and(if possible)has day and night cycles.

Can these grow sps?
Yes, these put out good PAR if you run 2 over your tank. I had them sitting on top of the tank running below 50% for LPS. You can probably raise them a bit and run them higher % and get enough PAR for SPS. At I think 80% blue and 50% white/UV/Violet, I was easily clearing 300 PAR on top of rocks about 6-8 inches below. The blending leaves a bit to be desired.

Wood canopy, drill mounts to wood, drill wood to canopy. No need for arm mounts, but many options

Just remove lenses and get better spread. You could grow almost anything in the top half

I have a 55 gallon. You will not be able to buy LED that is both programmable AND has the par needed for SPS, for less than $200. Your budget is too low.

I went with 2x Nicrew 100W and the Nicrew controller. Total price about $350.
Do you have good coral growth with the nicrews?

For the price you can't beat a QuantaPro. Great spread but also solid coloration and PAR. Lone bar I'd be thinking the one that mimics AB+, reef crest I believe. You can always hit them up and he could recommend something for you but I think that would be my go to for just one bar. Largest one you could fit, so I think 4'.

You'll eventually want 2 for color differences, blue and daylight I'm sure. But I think 1 would get you started for a standard 55g dim tank. I believe they are only 15" wide or so right?
