Made it to Friday!!! Just had to spring outa bed thinking of all I want to accomplish today!

1. Set up DOS to dose Magnesium! (Found problem- I had been rushing through this test.)
2. 50 gal wc and messing about with rbta and gsp.
3. Dig up 10 baby aloe plants to give to kids.
4. Pack for working wkend north.
5. Laundry.

Hope the little shark pulls through and finds a forever home. @Just John

Good morning! I don't have to work, so why am I up early??? My agenda includes going for a walk, hopefully before it's scorching hot outside, LFS for some frozen food and pods, PetSmart for crickets, and who knows what else. But first, COFFEE!! Have a great Friday!

I think I will just have some scrambled eggs.

Good morning all. Coffee is on, it's Friday, the shark thing got sorted out (way more work than I expected) and I didn't get woken up by my dog breathing directly in my face to get me out of bed. So, good day so far.

ground is not universal. it does not mean 0 volts. something is considered grounded if it has the same electric potential as "ground" or common or something like that. your tank could be carrying potential that turns into current when given a return pathway like you.

I was an electrician and all this electric talk is reminding me of work and I never want to be reminded of that "W" word. ;Meh

Last night there was fireworks at a park next to my marina. It was great and all the boats were loaded with partiers waiting to watch the show.

Before the sun went down it was very hot so I got this huge, 7' beach umbrella to put on the back of my boat for shade. I think everyone was jealous.

As the show was in full swing I blasted "God Bless America" from my boat speakers as did some other boats and the small floating "barge" restaurant at the marina.

After that all the boats blew their horns to wake up all the horseshoe crabs sleeping under docks. (The crabs hate that)

The boats were decorated in Christmas lights or just colored lights and it was a great night.

Of course we are old and had to leave right after the show to go to sleep.

Not long ago we would have stayed there all night. But if you are lucky, you Whippersnappers will get there.

Good morning and happy Friday!
Kept getting woke up all night due to thunderstorms. A nap may be in order this afternoon.
Dog sitting this weekend for a hyper 2 year old border collie mix. (What did I get myself into this time?)Although she is on doggie Prozac so starting to calm down now after taking her morning pill. I am hoping the 17 to 22 year old kids invading my house this weekend will take her on a good run! A couple of them are pre vet majors like my daughter so they all love animals.

So far, so good. I have noticed that the coral skeleton has made some cuts in the flesh of the bubble but it seems ok otherwise. Gentle movement. That thing is simply HUGE. You'll have to swing by sometime.
Your toadstool looks fabulous by the way.

Should hopefully have my office back this weekend. Flood damage to the floor is finally fixed. Hubby spent all week laying the LPV flooring. He is doing baseboards today.
I have PT this afternoon. Traction. Oh fun... Maybe I'll get taller?

Maxijet 1200 is like the Jeep of pumps in reefing with 100 uses. Want to blow off your rocks. Stick a short piece of 1/2 in CPVC on it and hold it in your hand.
The 1/2 in outlet fits a push to connect fitting to run a reactor. Makes a great ATO/AWC pump if you can use AC pumps.
A decent emergency return pump with a piece of vinyl tubing and 2 plumbing 90s.
Great for mixing salt and pumping it out of a Brut can for water changes.

Chewy.com has them for $20.99 right now. They also have the 400, 600 and 900s.
