Good Morning! It's 14 and snowing. We are expecting up to 2 inches this week. Hopefully that will translate to a couple of feet in the mountains. Only time will tell. The fishing guides are getting nervous and talking about not bringing back as many guides for the upcoming season. I have a three day weekend this week. I will either work on the plumbing of my tanks, or I will tie a bunch of flies. Have a great day and stay safe!

Today we undertake the escape from snow prison. I have tables to pick up at the restore. I am going to make a workbench. With drill press and a vise.
Spent 2-3 hours in the fish room yesterday catching up. What a mess. As an experiment I turned the fuge tank into an algae scrubber. Something simple, cheap and disposable for algae to grow on.

For ulva you snip holes in it and push some through. For chaeto you snip slots in the sides and push it in. GHA loves it.
I have 3 tanks. The big one with MH has no algae except coralline. The middle one has 265 watts LED at 63% has no coralline or other algae. Little one is algae soup with coralline. 2 x 165 watt BB lights at 95% both channels.
The same water is in all 3 tanks so water parameters are not a consideration.

So the logical deduction is algae needs more light than coral to grow.

Meh just rambling while getting licked by a cat.

A late good morning! I'm sorry to hear your news Mrs. B. Totally off of crutches now and went to physical therapy today. I may return to normal after all. My dr. gave me the prepare for the worst hope for the best type of prep, since there is a 20% risk of failure with this surgery. I hope everyone is having a pleasant day.

It’s a 2014 with only 50k miles. Never been off road and has been garage kept. Previous owners had 2 toddlers and now have another baby on the way. No room for 3 child safety seats in a Jeep so I scored!

I walked this morning. I think it was 22 balmy degrees and tomorrow it is supposed to be around 17 and snow. My kind of walking weather. :cool:
