Someone tell me when Thompsons changed their formula?

I admit I have not put a sealer on my deck in about 5 years. So I thought with all this going on it was a good time to do it. Bought some Thompsons clear deck stain/sealer like always. Went to spray it on yesterday, this stuff is like snot! It's not the thin oil based stain it used to be. This stuff cannot be p0ut in a garden sprayer and sprayed on like I used to do it. So now I have to make a tripe to lowes/home depot and get some brushes and rollers. This will end up being an all day project instead of the couple hours it used to take.

Not looking forward to today!

OOh did I mention lowes/HD are an hour drive one way for me?

In Ohio there are a lot of weathered barns. I associate the grey wood with HOME. Consequently my outdoor wood has never been stained/sealed. I like the look and am budgeting replacement cost. Privacy fence is 20 years old. OK, if i had a deck it would probably get the seal treatment, 'barefeet+splinters' not a good combination, lol. Good Morning!!

Good morning!

Today, we are back to an empty (rather silent) nest for the next few weeks. Bittersweet of course.

NY state opened up golf courses, so me and a few buddies will practise some social distancing on the course tomorrow!

Interesting set of rules the course must follow in order to operate. No course staff are allowed to be on site -- only a security guard and a webcam as the starter. Tee times are spread far apart. No carts allowed. Rounds have to be prepaid.

prob too late by now ,you can thin down w ,thinner will protect deck same;)

I signed this a few weeks ago. So far I have not seen an impact on the hobby. Australia and Vietnam shipments have landed in the states this week. From my gathering, they are fulfilling big orders first, so I don't know for sure how they prioritize order fulfillment.
