Getting a little creative. My Wife needed some things at the Hobby Lobby last night. While she was looking at HER stuff, I found myself looking at drawer pull knobs. I found these solid brass mini divers helmets and thought they would make cool handles for my little Innovative Marine glass cleaner magnets.
Found some small bottle corks that fit nice and snug into the helmets. I cut the cork down so the helmet would sit against the outer magnet and super glued it all together. All I had to do with the helmets was unscrew the mounting post.

Good Morning Reefies.
So continuing food stories...
I go to a local carry out pizzeria(now closed) where you can see the kitchen and your food being made. Ownership has turned it over to high school kids.
I watch a young lady making my pizza. she does everything correct.
I watch another young lady making someone elses pizza.
While she does have gloves on, she is playing with her hair over the pizza.
She then heads over to the fridge and grabs some pepperoni. On the way back to her station she's eating the pepperoni. About the time she gets back to her station, another young lady starts sweeping the floor in the kitchen, as it's close to closing so let's get a jump on clean up so we can get out early.
While sweeping the floor she knocks the drain cap in the floor loose.
The young lady making the pizza sees this and she places it back in the drain opening and then goes back to making the pizza. No hand wash. No change of gloves.
Yea... I know... the oven temps would kill pretty much anything, but really?

Second that.. I used to stay up till 1-2 am and wake up for 8-9. Dang work ruins everything... I keep telling my wife to win power ball but she won’t for some reason.

I tell my wife she has to keep working so I can go on her insurance....I'll stay home, sleep in and walk to dog. She works part time and later than me, she just started work at 9am(at home....she can still let the dog out).

I had breakfast at 6am and went back to bed....so Good Morning Again....time for second breakfast!

Good duck day morning!!
Raining today, may last the rest of the month. when a slow rain sets in, it acts like it will continue for days... probably stop in a couple of hours. meanwhile i choose testing as my rainy day activity. Hazelnut coffee, everything bagel, and jammies.

when i retired two years ago my internal clock woke me up at 7 every day for a year. that has since changed to 8-9, less an alarm more a gentle nudge. enjoy hump day (for those who still observe it).

When I worked at the phone company I went in the backs, basements, storage, kitchens and attics of many restaurants
Most I could never bring myself to eat there again.

i worked in fast food for a time, maybe 4 or 5 places including college and military. what the uninformed consider sanitary and safe sometimes is not adhered to. yet the vast majority of patrons experience no 'ill' effects from eating the product. it is curious to me that when we learn details about behind-the-scenes activity, we do not adjust what we see as healthy instead of reconsidering the acceptability of the establishment that we learn about.

P.S.
I think if i share the above with family i will be cooking less for them in the future.
