Good morning everyone! Some of the pieces arrived yesterday for my mixing station upgrade including two dual TDS meters that connect to my controller (e.g., 4 TDS sensors), various additional controller extension parts, and a leak detector rope. I hope to pick up the custom RODI system at Aquashella in Orlando in a couple of weeks.

Broke and stuck in an unhappy marriage, a husband decided to take out a large insurance policy on his wife with himself as the beneficiary and then have her killed. He contacted a figure named “Artie.” Artie explained to the husband that his going price for snuffing out a spouse was $10,000 and he needed a deposit. The man opened his wallet, displaying the single dollar bill that rested inside. Artie sighed, rolled his eyes, and agreed to accept the dollar as a down payment for the deed. Artie followed the man’s wife to Costco. He surprised her in the produce department and proceeded to strangle her. The manager of the produce department stumbled unexpectedly onto the murder scene. Ol’ Artie had no choice but to strangle the produce manager too. Unknown to Artie, the entire proceedings were captured by the security cameras and observed by the security guard, who called the police. Artie was caught and arrested.

The next day in the newspaper, the headline read, “ARTIE CHOKES 2 for $1.00 @ Costco.”

Good Morning Friends!
Lots of rain over night and expecting storms all day today. Some could be severe. At least I won’t have to water plants today.
The three day weekend is supposed to be nice. Cooler (70’s) with NO rain.
We have VIP passes to the Nashville Zoo that we get yearly because of Angela’s job. They have a setup in their Vet hospital of corals that are being studied for some type of “wasting” disease that VIP members have access to. We can also get a “sneak peek” at any newborn animals they are nursing. We may do that tomorrow.
No plans yet for the rest of the weekend but I’d like to get to Lebanon TN to the Pool &Spa Depot and have water tested and pick up some chemicals for the spa.

Waiting for the sun to rise over the Appalachian sea.

All you people telling me to stay safe are scaring me. I feel like I am in a mine field and don't know it.
Did I mess the sign? Is it that unsafe where you are?

I kind of screwed on healthy too. That ship has sailed.

I can pet my cat, watch my fish and look at the texts about the grandkids that are growing like little weeds.
So I got the happy thing locked in.

Very cool about the zoo! We were considering going Saturday as part of the birthday festivities, but with the baby most likely coming Sunday (if not sooner), we're going to skip the zoo this time. We bought the kids an annual pass as part of their Christmas and they love it!

Good morning! Looks like we will have amazing weather for a normally hot weekend. After the quick trip to Nashville tomorrow, we'll be spending the weekend sitting on the deck and grilling some ribs...lots of ribs! I hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend ;Joyful

Good morning!

looks to be a rainy one today. But thats okay. Hopefully the grass in front will start greening up. Had my last day with one of my kiddos yesterday. Kinda sad about that. Going to miss working with him, but I’m needed on other teams so go I shall.

it’s a peaceful morning with my coffee and the pup. Soon I’ll take the kiddo to her last day of first grade and head in to work.

good morning everyone! it's maintenance day... time for lots of water changes on my fw tanks. ordered some live white worms off ebay and am excited to see if the fish like them. heard great things about them :)

Not so good morning, we've lost two fish over the last 24 hours. 1 older PJ Cardinal(not sure how old, but was a little over 3" long) in our main tank yesterday, and the neon blue goby in my office nano. At this point I'm thinking its just coincidental on the timing, but maybe possibly aggression.. The killer clowns in the main tank have been real jerks lately with at least 1 confirmed kill. In the nano I recently added a tailspot blenny. He's been a tiny bit territorial, but who knows what happens when the lights go off.. The other fish, corals, inverts, etc. all look ok. No spots or anything obvious other than some frayed fins on the PJ.

Memorial day weekend is the last weekend before my birthday. JK,
I am thankful for the generations of sacrifices that have brought us this far, and hopeful that we can continue to honor them by protecting what we have inherited as a result of their willingness to go in harm's way.
Bless those who died and those who grieve their loss. May your grief be tempered with comfort that a life freely spent in defense of home and freedom is the true expression of love.
