Good morning!! Yesterday was a complete roller coaster. No trip to Nashville...yet. Because we have a baby!! She was born yesterday evening, and we're on standby to go up at any moment. The day started with hearing that we will need to put our precious dog down soon and ended with a new grandbaby. We knew it was a matter of time with our sweet girl. After the surgery in January, we knew we were on borrowed time and had a wonderful few months with her. As long as she seems happy and still has quality of life, we will wait a little. We've been down this road before and knew when it was "time." Typing this is great therapy, as I can just let the tears fall.
We're so proud of the kids. Yesterday was a rough day for them also, and ended with a C-section. They're doing great and the baby is healthy....all 10 POUNDS 4 OUNCES of her!! I guess that happens when you're a week and a half late!! Our DIL is rather petite, so I can only imagine how she felt! The two grands were within 3 hours of having the same b-day. Now they will have girl birthday, and then have a boy birthday the next day! Makes life exciting. At least I should be able to remember their birthdays!
Anyway, that was my day yesterday. One day at a time now. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. ;Joyful
