Good morning, and thank you for the hugs. Husband and I had our cry-fest yesterday. We know what has to be done. Everything is closed today, so we'll decide when tomorrow. Pup is mostly sleeping and seems comfortable. She won't eat much....except ribs. At this point, who cares? Terrible for the kidneys, but we gave her some ribs. She loved those.

I slept on the couch, just in case she freaked out over the fireworks, which were LOUD from 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. She slept right through them. The toddler, not so much. Poor baby was pretty upset, but finally settled down and is still sleeping.

The ribs were great! We also had grilled corn, potato salad, baked beans, and hush puppies. Oh, and I did manage to pick up a few pieces at the TSA sale....still shopping the aftersale, too. :D Liveaquaria also had a little sale going, so I ordered two fish for the BioCube. Little guy points to it and says "No bish." Well, he's going to have some bish this week! ;Joyful

Good Morning! when you wake up to the sound of the trash truck going by and you hadn't set out the trash because: Holiday. luckily: A. i don't produce much trash, and B. I didn't throw anything last week that will smell in the heat if it is out there another week. Happy 5th of July everyone! and yes my service has a calendar for pickup days that i didn't look at.
I'll just be over here cleaning glass.

It might sound silly but a bit of drama makes an event extra memorable and makes it more exciting to talk about the rest of your life. Who talks about that time they were comfortable and nothing happened?

I hope they did ok. My dad had the "friends get one try" rule. If I took a friend and they puked on the boat, they weren't invited back. Most of my friends got....one try.

One year later in 1983...same person...we just had our 38th. My husband has this really annoying coworker named Becky. I have this really annoying coworker named Cindy. When we get really annoyed with each other, we start calling each other Becky and Cindy. My son came downstairs the other day and asked why we call each other Becky and Cindy. Ummmm, long story, son. ;Hilarious

my wifes three.
one daughter moved to texas now in w.va.
one son moved to kentucky
one son moved to cali
my two
one daughter and one son still live in state.
i think it bothers my wife more about the the grandkids than the kids we don't get to see.

Yeah that’s hard too lol. Our only daughter and our grandson. He turned four months yesterday. I’m proud of her though, she’s taking this step to help her and her son so I can’t be too upset.

we hear from the daughter, via facetime, almost every night. gotta love technology sometimes.
