On this mornings walk I encountered this Heron. She was just standing there but didn't let me get close. I wanted to get a close up because she reminded me of one of my old girlfriends.



But just like my girlfriend, as I got closer, she flew away.

Saw a bunch of these mainly white ones in Florida this past week- Very neat and large birds

My morning walk started like any other day. Beautiful

As I walked, I came across this "Bounce and Splash" thing.

You would think, with all the people getting bitten by sharks now here, they would use this in the pool. :oops:

As an aside, there is a YMCA pool just 10 blocks from where that poor lady was bitten.

Time to bump up the number of LI shark tournaments!!! :)

This morning on my beautiful beach walk at dawn I collected some Codium seaweed. I glued it to a rock and threw it in my tank. In the summer I normally have a bunch of this stuff in my tank but it doesn't live very long and my urchin has a taste for it.
