If the temps are over 50 through the day you could probably go ahead and move it. Goldfish are incredibly tough resilient fish.
I dug a hole in the back yard where there was a spring. It filled with water and I put some in and they did fine summer and winter and made more. Lots of frogs and toads too.

It's been unseasonably cold here in Northern California. Lots of cold wind and then sub tropical rain. Next 2 weeks are supposed to be sunny and 70's so I think it wont be too much longer. I know goldfish are tougher than Chuck Norris's beard, but I just don't want to break my daughters heart. Thank you for the tip! Never thought I would worry about a feeder goldfish. Lol

Good morning Reef Family! Hopefully selling the wife's Honda 750 today at 10:00, testing, water changes and having the kids and grandkids over for Sunday dinner. Whew! Full day planned.

I even wave at a moped because I figure it is what he/she can afford.

Did I find a sore spot. I apologize. It was a joke. Most HD riders here trash talk sport bike riders. It didn't bother me. I thought is was kinda funny.
I suppose I was ruined long ago. The first bike I lusted after was a Honda 750-4.
Never had one.

The other notable bike I owned was a Honda Valkyrie. Flat 6 and I opened the pipes with a sharpened piece of rebar and re-jetted the carbs, all 6 of them. Would have been the best bike ever made except is was a five speed geared for 55 miles an hour. Scary fast and cornered like pig. Raced a lady from work on a windy 2 lane WV back road. She did not escape me on her sportster.

I had 2 experiences on cruiser bikes that made me give them up. They involved a Mustang and an 18 wheeler tailgating me at high speed. I could not get away. This happened while I was on a Vulcan and the Valkyrie both times on the interstate. Once I got the CBR 1100 XX very few cars could catch me. There were few cars in the world that could catch a ZX-14 back then.
I fell in love with the great brakes and quick steering. The speed was something I did probably more often than I should have when I caught an open rode. It was exhilarating.

I should have phrased my 'waving at mopeds' differently. I don't give the wave, but if they do...I will return it. I see a guy every morning ~0500hrs riding his moped to a grocery store he works at. He makes little money and it is probably a 2-hour ride for him which would take us 10 minutes...It's his only transportation and he commutes year round in all conditions which prompted my comment.

No soft spot here my friend. I started riding at 6 or 7 and have all sorts of bikes and we all share the same wind. :)

Lol, I was kidding with the moped. I actually wave at everyone, it's just my nature. Never have been the mean guy, I don't have a mean bone in my body. Growing up in a small town it was common to do the wave in the car or pickup when driving past someone. When riding everyone waves and in the Jeep everyone waves. It's kind of programmed in me to wave.

'em bikes are cool. Gotta have a death wish to ride one here though. The unofficial speed limit is 15mph over posted, and lots of jacked up trucks 'round here. Anything with two wheels is just a speed bump.

Why aren't fish tank lights made like this. 30w led 2x2 feet. No bright spots at all. it's a 1/2 an inch thick except for a small box on top to connect the wires

I did entertain a sports bike, 2 things stopped me. I have a bum leg from an injury in my service days, I couldn't get my foot up on the peg without having to lift my lower leg with my hand. 2nd was the speed aspect, I love speed and I know me. I don't think it would have been a wise combination. But I do love the looks of the sport bikes, they look like a blast! I still get the itch to ride one just to see...:)

I did get me a bicycle. Back on 2 wheels. Haven't rode it yet because of the weather and moving and fish tank stuff. I think I can now.
I didn't walk good 3 months ago. Wouldn't stand on anything taller than a kitchen chair. I had no balance at all.
It is kinda strange. Like magic.

I am pretty sure civilization is in decline. The cellular network has been out 4 days here. I used to fix that stuff. The only reason for it to be out 4 days is they cant figure out whats wrong with it. The magic is broken and the batteries died in the wizards wand.

I never went faster than I could see. Rule number one. Beyond that a sport bike is like driving a sports car as opposed to a station wagon. It goes and stops and turns so much better it makes you safer if used with grown up discretion and some skill.

Exactly why I sold mine a few years ago. I stopped trusting cagers. Had too many close calls with morons in cars

I just do fish now. I might rebuild one of my RC cars and run it though. I used to be very energetic. Dogs, guns, motorcycles, fish, RC cars and planes, kids and working 50 hours a week.
Not so much now but better.
