@Peace River made me post the cat picks. I have seen the face in the meme in my arms many times.

Glad I can have that effect on someone.

As for Christmas nightmares my worst was a large slot car racing track with 3982 pieces plus stickers for 200 tiny flags that went around it. It took hours. Something like this but bigger. Of course it is in my garage in a box.

That part I do miss. Kids all excited and eyes wide open trying to see which presents belong to whom (I had four then). One playing Santa passing things out. Then all the mess and noise of the new toys for the next couple hours until the lack of sleep and the crash from the cocoa and cinnamon rolls kick in and they fall asleep wherever they are.

For any parents reading this in the middle of all that, stop reading this and just look around. It goes by way too quick.

Yes it does go fast, and like you I have 4 and now 28 years later 3 of them are still upstairs ;Happy sleeping, and I was wide awake at 5 am. We still have one boss that will pass out the presents then I may pass out;)

The son I put it together for is upstairs sleeping right now. Now I am the one that gets up early.
Big doll houses are a pain too. He is having twins. A boy and a girl.

yep, I miss those days also, my daughter is 17 and still in bed at 10am!

Good morning...I have off until Jan 2nd (no, I'm an adult and then some, it's just my customer isn't running until until then, so....neither am I).

Christmas Eve had my brother in law family over, they brought the kids which I wasn't expecting. Nephew is a 13 year old boy who immediately became enraptured with my tank. All my kids are adults and all the grand-kids close by are still in elementary school or diapers. I had forgotten at that age what something like a reef tank can be like for a boy. Long story short - 1) I am the 'cool' uncle, 2) his Mom doesn't like me at the moment because all she hears now is when can he get a tank and 3) I got a new reef buddy and a likely small tank project later on this spring.

I'm having a great Christmas!

I sincerely hope everyone had an Awesome Christmas as I did.
We met the family at City Island NY (part of the Bronx) where there is nothing but great seafood, then back to their place in Lower Manhattan for Christmas Eve.

There are only 12 rows of pews as NYC had only 230,000 people there then. The 4 singers are in opera school in NYU.

Good morning! Change my Anion Resin Day! Of all the jobs keeping up a reef tank, that's one of my least favorite. Those little beads go everywhere and I can never keep them out of that little sponge enough that it doesn't get in the threads of the cap. Ah well, better than working today.
