Yesterday was 14 man hours on the client build. No significant snags, so that must mean it is going to leak.

Watching people argue about things they don't actually know much about isn't very entertaining.

And that snake oil post. I have all these snakes now. If I don't make them into oil what will I do with them?

I got 300 fish. I didnt QT them.
Perhaps the xenia didnt all die. The answer always seems to be increase the flow.

My head is in a strange place these days.

This morning I took my Grand Daughter down to the beach to look for beach glass.

New corals arrived!
As usual, the minute something new goes into the tank, the “grooming brigade “ shows up. Somewhere under the pile of crabs is my Fireworks frag/mini colony. If they harm it, I’m going to be serving crab with drawn butter and lemon. LOL!
I glued the new GSP frag to the false wall. Should stay because it’s not glass.

in other news the mrs was sent home from work after receiving a call from her hair dresser who tested for "IT".:(
mrs sez thinking back on the convo she overheard amongst the hair fixer uppers, they knew they had possibly
been exposed.:rolleyes: last contact was saturday so here we are.:mad:
scheduled to get our first vacs dose on this coming saturday.
on the upside she's out of the office and working from home.:D
it also gives me an excuse to continue my "no haircuts" regiment.

Cloudy, dreary day here today with an “enhanced risk” of severe storms tomorrow.
Still no sign of my new clove polyps opening and shrimp are still MIA. I have all new cartridges showing up today for the RO/DI unit so I can get back to making top off water. If the cloves don’t open today, they will get moved to higher flow.

mine do better in low flow, med high/high light.

I just moved them to a different (better?) location. Little more flow and light so we’ll see what happens. The spot that they were in was almost no flow. I’ll just consider yesterday to be an acclimation period for them. Really can’t wait to see them open. There are 7 polyps and it looks like 3 babies on that plug.

I have a few in different areas of the tank. the ones that have gotten the biggest and spread are pretty much in a protected area, near zero flow. granted it hasn't been explosive growth but there's a lot going on with other softies in the vicinity.

Back in business with the RO/DI unit. I have a few gallons dripping right now. I let the unit run to flush it out for 15 minutes then tested. ZERO ppm of TDS! WAHOOO!
