Good morning. My yard is being overrun with robins. Must be migrating. Then taking the dog out this morning, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something in a tree move.

Ah yes, the good old days!
Toy soldiers were made out of lead and Tonka trucks were made out of steel. When your toys got rusty and they cut you, Mom put a Band-Aid on it with some iodine and sent you back outside to play. No need to call a lawyer and start a class action suit.
All of us old timers played with this stuff and here we are 60, 70+ years later, still kickin’ !

The meanest animal in the world is a Croco gator. It has the head of an alligator on one end and the head of a crocodile on the other end.

We went to an exotic animal expo yesterday. It was mostly snakes and spiders which thrilled Jill a lot. One lady had lovebirds and was telling us how rare and valuable they were. Her bird had a badly overgrown beak that was square on the bottom.
So Jill showed her a picture of ours and she told us they were even rarer and she asked us where we bought them.
Jill told her someone gave them to us. That look on her face.

I almost came home with an axolotl. I was just going to add it to the 55 gallon. I don't mind if it eats a few fish. Then the lady said they need to be kept at 68-72 degrees. The internet says 57-68 degrees. I passed since I don't need another thing to worry about if the power goes out. If I kept my feeder that temp they would never grow.

They did have some really nice turtles too. I don't have anywhere to set up another tank though.

i woke up in '84 married to satan's daughter.

2 years later i was ignoring (alleged) her conversation directed at me about buying a house we couldn't afford.
it wasn't even the final straw when the very large glass of mt. dew on ice left her hand and projected across the room to hit the hanging light, over my head, exploding the large glass bulbs and raining said glass and ice and mt. dew down on me.

no... the final straw was when i looked up to see mt dew running down my gibson e2 explorer. (pic for reference)




and my crown racked stereo system. (high end stereo equip at the time)

I ordered some spirits from a company in New York.
This event has caused a meltdown in the Fedex system. The box was supposed to be delivered on the 9th. I have no Idea where it is but their system keeps sending me updates that tell me nothing.

I did call them and listened to a nice lady who barely spoke english make sounds into the phone.

A signature is required for pickup so I rerouted the package to a local Fedex point because it was not even in WV on the 9th and I didnt know if we would be home over the weekend.

I never got a confirmation the reroute was successful.

I have been notified it is on the truck for delivery the last 3 mornings. I have been notified the Fedex point was closed when they tried to deliver it.

You cant call Walgreens which is their local delivery point because their phone doesn't work. The call director for their new phone system just hangs up on you.

LOL I would stock up on food and water before everything melts down and hope your car doesn't brake because their are no parts available.

We went to Petsmart to get some replacement bird toys so I got some fish. From what I have been reading any livebearer will work.

I put one of the platys in for the lionfish and they followed all around going what is that? You eat it, No, you. Help yourself.

I've seen some of your creations! The thought of my husband cooking/baking is terrifying. He just recently moved up to hot dogs on the grill. That was a big step for him. ;Hilarious Thankfully, all three of our boys can cook and are good cooks....the clean-up process, not so great, but you have to take the good with the bad!

Good morning! It's a beautiful Sunday. Walk is done. Husband is off at the golf course getting ready for a tournament tomorrow. The stress has just melted away over the last few days. It's great to see. :)

Two work days for me, then we're off to the gulf coast. I could get used to this! I'm hoping to start working 3 days per week soon. I'm going to have to start pushing the boss. I'll tell her if they don't work out my part-time gig, I may have to go with a no-time gig instead! Maybe that will get her motivated...

The next 2 days will involve "tank training" for the son/DIL. They've done it before and probably just need a refresher course.

A little apprehensive today. My Daughter has Covid and is pretty sick.
She lives in the West Village in Manhattan with millions of people so it is hard not to get it. She has had her 2 shots.

My grand son has to miss his first day of school and my Grand Daughter started school so now all the kids in her class and the teacher has to stay home and quarantine.
Greta also has an auto immune disease so we are really worried about her. She has no symptoms so far.
This is a big mess

Hopefully the sulfur will come today and I can put the new reactor in service and the liquor will show up so I can have a toast to my success.
Maybe even the new headlight bulbs for the Impreza will come so I can see what I am doing.
Then there are the new lights for the driveway side of the house with motion sensors to put up.
