I upgraded 2 of my tanks into this 125g that I had as a FW tank for 3 years. The upkeep on 3 larger tanks was too much for me as I also have a aquapod 24
I had a 75g reef, 46 bow reef and the 125g FW and AP24 reef
so here is my final large reef with less stress...the tank is only 2 months old, so it is still going thru diatoms on the sand

125g RR
160lbs live rock
80 lbs Natures Ocean black reef sand
30g long sump with refgium 10lbs LR and Chaeto on reverse light cycle
ASM G2 skimmer
Mag 12 return pump
2x Koralia 3's
Catalina Aquariums T5HO 6x 80w photo period is 8am to 8pm
bulbs are:
ATI blue +
ATI blue +
ATI aqua blue special
KZ fiji purple
ATI blue +
ATI blue +

Thanks! the green leather just recently decided it was going to stick onto the overflow...the bi color is a great addition!

Thanks! It has gotten prtty big it was in my aquapod but I was scared it would eat my yellow watchman...he liked to hang out on top of it lol here is a pic of him hangin' before I moved it

Ok so time for some pix overload...I dunno what I wuz thinking

alot has happened with this tank..I had GHA..I did a complete re scape to open it up with a 100%water change, that killed the GHA lol I use NSW(natural sea water)
I switched to a MH fixture Coralife Aqualite 3x 150's with 20k radium bulbs
added phosban and carbon reactors...added macro in the sump.
I lost 1 fish during the rescape - midas blenny
my favorite fish Leopard wrasse made it to the sump and got sucked into my skimmer pump last week :( and my BJ trigger was harassed to death by the hippo tang.

My new diamond goby...nice clean sand again!!
