GoVols: Figured, why not take more shots... o_O

Picture #1 with (GoVols) hand on glass to try  to put the S-400's colonies (size) into perspective.
Also can look at Powder Blue Tang in last shot for an Idea too.

Once again, ;Sorry for the picture quality :(

;Hilarious..!!!

Who's them Gator's got this week?

I'm afraid to look honestly, but it may be LSU week. If that's the case we can probably McElwain another one in the W column.

We can talk college football, all you want and thanks for the kind words.
I've sure had my share of reefing setbacks, over the years.

Freddie what's the 'wavy' Coral on the left hand side of your tank. Looks whiteish but could be lighting etc? I need to have one lol!

Looks like my green 'wavy' thing in my tank but white! Lol

Also I know you use Purigen, and you don't carbon dose, but does this keep your nitrates under control with just water changes ?

Shaun,

That's a duncan that I've grown from a two head. Broke in half, so now it's two colonies, sitting side by side.

Yes, (nitrates)
Low fish bio-load / Purigen reactor / Great skimmer / Bare Bottom / 18% weekly water change.
Ran for over an year at 4-5ppm.
Put in the new Purgien reactor and found it's dose been holding steady at 7ppm and can bring the nitrates back down to 4-5ppm but I'm fine tuning the GFO dose, first :)

Still dosing 15ml of both parts of Reef Energy (about) five days a week and that's the only coral food that I use.

(LOL)
Drank some "Reef Energy" one night, and my "Digestion Test" showed no phosphates, the next day :D

All you need is an Orange light filter to make the colors less blue. If you have the Kessil controller you can turn your A80's to 10-12k and it'll come out more natural.

Rakie,
It's top secret but I'm just about to go off the deep end with the S-400 ;Nailbiting

Haha, well that should help too!

Such a silly thing a camera is in our hobby. It's great to spot growth, and see progress. So often I think nothing is growing then I look back just a few weeks and notice a good chunk of growth. Very useful tool!
