Hello! I'm new here and my name Ashley and I'm a huge nerd...and frequently salty.

I live in Dallas (can't wait for Aquashella next month!). I'm a geologist. I've been doing freshwater aquascaping for a while now but I've always longing looked at the blue side of the fish store. Last month, my husband got me my first saltwater tank setup for my birthday! It's a Lifegard 10 gallon AIO. It's been doing a fishless cycle on top of my dresser for a couple of weeks and I think I'll get my first fish on Saturday! More on that later...think I'll make a build thread! The learning curve is very large, but I've been thoroughly enjoying all of the research. I might end up liking saltwater so much that I ditch my freshwater tank! My aquascaping buddies say I'm going to the "dark side" lol

Can't wait to dive in!
