I am brand new to R2R, (at least as more than a lurker), and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I think I might hold the unofficial title of someone who has been in the hobby the longest without actually being active in the hobby. For over 10 years I have been trying to get a tank up and going m, but for many reasons stemming from truck driver life, to apartment living, to more recently raising two toddlers as a single parent. I own many books from Julian Sprung, Ed Noga, and so on. I have followed many hobby YouTubers, forums, FB groups, and podcasts. I even go to local frag swaps despite not being able to buy anything. Education isn’t as helpful as experience, so I hope to have both very soon. I may be going into this green, but hopefully not blind. I look forward to learning from all of your collective experiences. And by the way, I took delivery of a Red Sea Reefer 425XL today, so I will be seeing you all soon. -Chris

Welcome to R2R and congratulations on the new tank!

Welcome! I am right down the road from you in Fairborn!
Reefer tanks are my favorite. Many options on who you can house within that size.

Oh and another thing. I spent my middle and high school years in Beavercreek, OH.

Welcome to the hobby legit!
