Gregs 22g Long Saga

What kind of change did you make to the light setting?
I was already running at 70% but it was all dark blues and UV no whites or the light blue.

I joined the AI Prime Facebook group and did some research and found a spectrum I really liked and people were getting good results from. It’s called the Pennywise 16HD 10hr I believe. It’s at the same percentage power as my blues already were. I just wanted to acclimate the corals to the other spectrums that were in the schedule. I started at 60% In the acclimation setting and let it ramp up over 30 days to full power.

Love these things.

Clarification:

I just realized It’s been 6 months since I started this journey. Half the rock in the 22g was once in a smaller tank and that rock was transferred over and so were most of the corals as you can see from the pictures. The 22g tank is technically not 6 months old. I think it’s 4 months old.

Just a little clarity there

Looking spectacular, and thanks for the info on the Pennywise schedule!
No problem. Just remember these lights are powerful. Find a setting you like and stick with it. This is only the second time I’ve changed my spectrum since I set it up. I didn’t want to change it but it was just too blue and I was getting tired of it. I made the change slowly.
