Hi,
I purchased a red haddoni carpet anemone just over 2 weeks ago.
All was going great until it started moving again and was in a really bad position under the rocks affecting some of my other corals.
I made a stupid decision to move it and unanchor it’s foot, in the process of course I damaged it!
for the next few days it was just floating in one spot and I could see the foot seemed to be healing up. In the past day it’s taken a walk to a new position and was looking quite good this morning. About 2 hours ago I put my hand in the tank to move my clam away from the anemone, I touched the anemone in the process and it straight away shrivelled up very small and seems deflated, haven’t seen it like this.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice or should I be concerned about it’s current state?
Ta parameters:
Ammonia, nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 2.5
Phosphate - 0
PH 8.2
Calcium - 400
Magnesium - 1275
KH - 6.4 (need to dose to bring this up slowly)
Temperature also stable at 23.7
pica attached show it happy last Friday, Sunday night foot damage and how it is this afternoon (Thursday)
