Hair Algae?

I thought this was hair algae but I ran 14 days of Flux RX and it didn’t touch it. I manually remove and it comes back a week later. Now it has some kind of branching part shown in the photo. Nothing seems to eat it.

Hard to tell from pic, could it be bryopsis?

Could you post a pic in white light only so we can see the algae you’re talking about better? Only thing off the top of my head I can think of that would be resistant to that treatment is perhaps bryopsis. I think one of our great reefsquad could help you pinpoint it exactly!

Looks like hair algae to me. I'm currently battling GHA as well but it has gone down dramatically since I started running some GFO/Rowaphos. I was manually removing it nightly, and pulling big chunks out with water changes but I was not making impact.

This is somewhat controversial, because it can seed your tank, but I have had the best luck with scrubbing all rock nightly, and every couple of evenings i'll scrub off patches of algae. My logic here is if you scrub the rock daily the algae won't have the opportunity to seed itself. Give it a try... It might workout. It is working for me 😀
