Ill be replacing my MH bulb in a few week. Right now im running 12k Reeflux DE. Overall i like the bulb color and growth, but i think i want to try out a 14k. My question is which one would give me the best growth/color ( a little more blue)? I am running my bulbs on a ARO 250w electronic ballast.

I was also considering the Iwasaki 14k DE bulb.

Thank you , Danny.

I'm running a Hamilton 14000k and I love it. Very high par, and a crisp white with a bit of blue. Colors look great. I can't compare to the Phoenix, never had one.

I've had several Phoenix 15k DE
>>What do you need this bulb to do for you? PAR or Color? <<

COLOR
Phoenix has more blue, not a 20k though
Hamilton is more white.

PAR
I have no idea. Research it.

i prefer the phoenix 14k to hamilton 14k. i've used both and the phoenix is brighter and has better color hands down. thats just my .02

Used both in the 150w DE version. IMO, the phoenix bulb is superior in both color and growth. It is really blue, almost 20k blue and I found the hamilton really white.

I guess its the phoenix bulb. ill give it a try. Thanxs everyone for your input.
