Hey all!
I recently acquired this hammer but it's just not doing it for me. I'm looking to trade it but what would be a good trade value for it? It has roughly 40ish heads. I've had people tell me as little as $100 while other said no less than $400.
Any input would be helpful.
Thanks!

Here is a pic.

Hard to tell from the blue photo, but it looks to be a pretty common color and approximately the size of a softball. If I'm accurate, I'd say probably worth closer to $100 (retail price would be higher, but as a private seller you can't expect to sell at a premium price).

It's a little bigger than a softball. Green base purple ends. A lfs said if it were fragged it could sell for $15-$20 per head. Why would it be worth less in 1 piece? Honestly asking as I'm newish to all of this.

Also, looking more for trade value than sell value.

Assuming your time/energy is also worth something, there is a cost/benefit ratio to be considered... how long would it take to frag and sell 40 individual heads? And how many might die in the process?

Prices can vary a lot depending on location, but as a comparison my LFS has an eye popping toxic green hammer about that size for $200 and it has been up for sale for months...

Makes sense. Is it often that you'll lose some in fragging?
Here is a (hopefully) better pic.

Is this the one that was listed on the marketplace this week? If so, why not try to sell it for what you paid for it on here, you may be able to get more

Unfortunately I didn't buy it, I traded for it with a local. I've only posted on my local FB pages for trade. Honestly not trying to sell it. Just wanting to trade for some cool mushrooms or something but want to make sure everyone is getting a fair shake out of the deal.

$300 would be fair number for trade or sale.
It’s beautiful coral! good luck!
