The red section is what I’m asking about, if that’s the part your talking about how do I flip it connecting to sump as it does not seem to come apart.If possible, you should flip the bulkhead 180 degrees so it can still be removed, even with all your drain plumbing glued!

At first it looked like a standard bulkhead fitting, but now I’m not so sure!
Aah, I see what they did there! Just a NPT to slip adapter, through the sump lid….There you go, thank you so much for your input. Been trying to get this tank going for four years now. Excited to get the water in tank and don’t wanna do the plumbing wrong.

Well, you have a union directly above it, so I’d glue it!
