Hard plumbing gluing

So quick question got my drain line in this evening. So my question is the section under finale union where it goes into the bulk head per say of sump, should it be glued there??

If possible, you should flip the bulkhead 180 degrees so it can still be removed, even with all your drain plumbing glued!
The red section is what I’m asking about, if that’s the part your talking about how do I flip it connecting to sump as it does not seem to come apart.

At first it looked like a standard bulkhead fitting, but now I’m not so sure!

There you go, thank you so much for your input. Been trying to get this tank going for four years now. Excited to get the water in tank and don’t wanna do the plumbing wrong.

There you go, thank you so much for your input. Been trying to get this tank going for four years now. Excited to get the water in tank and don’t wanna do the plumbing wrong.
Aah, I see what they did there! Just a NPT to slip adapter, through the sump lid….

Well, you have a union directly above it, so I’d glue it!
