You are easy! lolI’m easy. All I want is a yellow tang which used to be everywhere
Hi,They will be available again one day. Have no doubt.
Until then enjoy this photo I took! Lol
I think it's funny that anyone thinks that limiting collection of fish for the aquarium trade makes any real difference when compared to pollution, habit destruction and commercial fishing. If you stop letting these animals from being in people's tanks to be enjoyed people will stop caring what happens to them entirely. This has been shown to happen when zoos and aquariums take animals off display donations to save them drops.
I was part of a conversation recently that mirrors that sentiment. It in part focused on how folks that are vegan for "moral reasons" will label as murderers people that eat meat, but go oddly silent when you mention all the animals killed during crop harvesting. The difference being they don't actually get to see the bunnies and the field mice being murdered, but slaughterhouse pics can be found with a simple internet search. In regard to your statement, I thought I would share this post with you.

OMG… typical ‘board meeting/members’ … don’t realize that their ‘2 cents’ is worth exactly that! Here is a video of the relevant meeting on 24th October 2025 DNLR..
I was told by certain someone from seagr.... that prices will never be like they were before ban.Prices are never set in stone. We dictate the price outside of things we can’t control like fuel, electricity etc
The lfs will still jack the price up till everyone gets over the hype and the demand dies down! Then you’ll see them for $40 again.
Agree 100%. I'd be happy if they end up in the $80-$100 range, but I'm not counting on it.I was told by certain someone from seagr.... that prices will never be like they were before ban.

IMO, still too low… the old prices are gone forever! My guess, retail will end up somewhere between 79 to 169, lower end being wishful thinking.

One of my lfs got some in and true yellow Hawaii’s.. I’m not sure if they were rescued or what.Just looking for a hawaiian yellow eye kole...
I had this happen locally a couple years ago as well. They were not tank bred tiny white ones these were all decent sized vibrant yellow. No idea where or how they got them about a dozen of them. If they were out of someones tank they were on the small side for being in captivity for that long. One of my lfs got some in and true yellow Hawaii’s.. I’m not sure if they were rescued or what.
