Hello all,
I just recently graduated veterinary school and am finally starting a reef tank, a hobby I have always been interested in. I recently bought a pre-drilled 55 gal and am planning to build a DIY tank stand and canopy. Look forward to getting advice from the veteran refers out there!

I don’t currently use a HOB filter on my reef tank, but I have in the past.

I have used a HOB on fish only or quarantine tanks, but not on the display tank.

I have never used a HOB on a saltwater tank.
