We are excited to join Reef2Reef and hope to contribute where we can.

Our History:

Golden State Corals is coming up on 1 year in business. Prior to this, the shop was called California Aquariums (some may recognize the name). My old business partner wanted to go in a different direction and I decided to trek on! I just couldn't let it go.

Anyway, I am excited to be back...so here are some pictures for your enjoyment

I visited this store recently after seeing this post and was pleasantly surprised! It's small (and the parking sucks) but has a really nice selection of corals. Melvin was super helpful and friendly! It will be nice to work with some professionals after my awful experience with Ultragem in Burbank. (message me for more details with them... let's just say I would avoid UG at ALL costs.)

I am very lucky to have this shop as my Local Fish Store. Although this is not the closest... Ultra Gem is... and as Rlynch818 mentioned, I had a terrible experience with receiving extremely sub-par customer service. I will not set foot in UG again.

Anyways, Elliot (the owner of GSC) is one of the nicest people you'll meet in the hobby. He is extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and will never overcharge or upsell you with things that you dont need. Their coral collection is amazing! I've been going here long before the change to GSC, while it was CA Aquariums.

If anyone is in the area, it is definitely worth your time to stop in, check it out.

Great store and great people! My go to shop here in LA and usually my hangout on the weekends when I have the time. A great place for true aqua-cultured corals. Glad you guys are here on R2R! See you soon.
