Hi everyone
How is everyone today?
I’m new to saltwater aquariums and forums

Currently I’m setting up a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank
Still buying equipment for it so no water in it yet.
I’ve got 3ft Q/T for fish ( has copper )
So far I’ve lost a Bristled tooth in Q/T ( had the longest poop hanging of it I’ve ever seen)
And right now got a powder Brown tang that stopped eating in Q/T and is getting a bit thin.
3ft Q/T for coral (still in the cycling process)
5ft tank thats just holding fish after Q/T while I’m still setting up the 6ft
Looking forward to hearing from you all,
Getting advice , and most of all learning a whole heap.

not sure how to end this post it’s already taken me 1.5hr to figure out what to post lol

Hello and welcome to R2R. Sorry to hear about your bristle tooth tang. It always sucks when a fish does not make it. It sounds like you are on the right track though. How are the coral and fish selections over there in Australia?

Welcome to R2R!!! While your fish are in QT I would feed then brine shrimp soaked in General Cure and Focus to help with internal parasites.

My copper is sitting at 0.33 from my Hanna checker and also used the api test kit
Ammonia 0 on the ammonia Badge
And 0 on the Red Sea kit
You think my copper sitting too high?
I’m not sure

Coral and fish selections are pretty good over here
Prices are a bit high for the rare stuff but that normal I guess for anything that’s rare
